Paul's picks:
Patrick Ewing, Walt "Clyde" Frazier, Charles Oakley and Bernard King

Zas' picks:
Patrick Ewing, Walt "Clyde" Frazier, Charles Oakley and Earl "The Pearl" Monroe

Paul and Zas chose their faces for the NEW YORK KNICKS Mount Rushmore on Thursday morning…and agreed on THREE of the four players!

The guys both picked…

Patrick Ewing:

A no-brainer, here, Ewing scored 23,665 points in 15 seasons (1,039 games) with the Knicks – an average of 22.8 points per game.  He also averaged 10.4 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game in that span.  Ewing won the NBA’s Rookie of the Year award in the 1985-86 season and averaged at least 20 points in each of his first 13 seasons…and was also selected to the NBA All-Star Game 11 times!

Walt “Clyde” Frazier:

In his 5 seasons on Broadway from 1973-77, Frazier scored 7,415 points (20 points per game) and averaged 6.1 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game.  Frazier was also an NBA All Star 4 times in that span (winning All Star Game MVP in the 1974-75 contest) and helped lead the Knicks to their last championship!

Charles Oakley:

Just a nasty dude, Oakley spent 10 seasons with the Knicks and averaged 10.4 points, 10 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game.  The defensive specialist was part of the core of the Knicks team in 1993-94 that won  57 games, won the Atlantic Division and made the NBA Finals; including the NBA record 25 playoff contests, Oakley played in all 107 of the Knicks games that year…also an NBA record.

The players they disagreed on?

Paul picked:

Bernard King:

King only played 206 games with the Knicks in 4 seasons, but in that time the small 6’7” small forward averaged 26.5 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.2 steals per game.  King’s 32.9 points per game in the 1984-85 season led the league and he was also an NBA All Star in both the 1984 and 1985 seasons!

And Zas went with:

Earl “The Pearl” Monroe:

In 8 seasons with the Knicks, “The Pearl” averaged 16.7 points, 3.6 assists and 1.0 steals per game.  Monroe was also selected to the All Star Game in 1975 and 1977 and was part of the Knicks last championship team in 1973!
