So now we have word that Ryan Braun's name appears on the same documentation that Alex Rodriguez's name appears from the biogenesis lab in Miami. A-Rod may be the bigger name, but Ryan Braun may have had the bigger affect on recent games.

Braun was the National League MVP in 2011 when word came down during the postseason that he failed a drug test. He appealed his 50 game suspension and was successful. Never did he argue the validity of the test, instead he and his attorney argued that the courier charged with handling his sample had not followed proper procedure.

Now he wants us to believe that he was in contact with the biogenesis lab as part of his defense from last year's appeal? The gentleman who runs the biogenesis lab is not a doctor and does not have a medical degree of any kind. I feel certain that his attorney could have found a real doctor to answer his questions for him. A-Rod and other names we know have already put a stain on the game, and now we have a recent MVP opening up a whole new chapter to the steroid saga.

Not only do I believe steroids still exist in major league baseball, I think there's a possibility their usage may be more widespread than ever. To make matters worse, I have a funny feeling we may see more big names emerging for the biogensis paperwork. What a wonderful story to lead us into pitchers and catchers reporting for spring training in just under a week.
