Well, big brother John beats little brother Jim 34-31 in this year's Super Bowl, bringing an end to another incredible NFL season.

Think about what else we saw this year. Not only did Adrian Peterson come back from an injury that most humans would still be recovering from, we saw him come oh so painfully close to setting the all-time rushing yards mark for a single season. We saw Peyton Manning trade in his Indianapolis blue for Denver orange while recovering from multiple neck surgeries and yet turn in one of his greatest seasons ever.  We saw Calvin Johnson play for one of the most disappointing teams in the league and yet, he was able to set a new record for receiving yards in a single season. We saw an NFL coach in Sean Payton suspended for an entire season due to bounty gate. We saw Tebowmania disappear right before our eyes. We saw the future, and the future is named, Luck, RGIII & Wilson. We saw Bill Belicheat and Jim Harbaugh act like the sorest of losers after they came up short in their quest for a championship, by refusing to speak to CBS who just happens to pay the NFL billions of dollars for the right to televise their games, and oh yeah, talk to their coaches.

Then this season came to an end with one of the most exciting and strangest Superbowls in recent memory. Two brothers face-off against each other in what became a tale of two halves with a power outage thrown in for good measure.

Pitchers and catchers report next week. How baseball can try and top the football season we just had, is beyond me, but I leave you with two words....PLAY BALL!!!
