What an incredible/strange start to the world of sports in 2013!

Alabama beats the living daylights out of Notre Dame and we witnessed one of the least competitive football games we have seen in a long time. Proving what I had said for weeks and weeks on the show, Notre Dame was overrated but because they are Notre Dame,the media and public fell in live with them.

Lance and Manti mania swept the nation. Lance goes on something called the Oprah Winfrey Network to tell us all what we had already knew for years. Manti comes clean (kind of) about his girlfriend who died then came back to life and then never existed. I've heard what he told Jeremy Schaap, I've heard what he told Katie Couric, and I still don't believe him. This story still has a long way to go.

Now we hear from Tim Brown, that his head coach with the Oakland Raiders, Bill Callahan, sabotaged the Super Bowl 10 years ago. Hey that's great Timmy, where you been for the last 10 years. You would think that is not the  kind of secret you would hang onto.

One more for good measure. Reports out of New York say the New York Jets have met with the "Honey Badger". Good Grief!
