(Washington, DC) -- "Duck Dynasty's" Willie Robertson will be representing his reality TV family at tonight's State of the Union address. The Duck Commander CEO will be the guest of Louisiana Congressman Vance McAllister. Deadline.com calls Willie's appearance at tonight's address a return of favor of sorts. It follows the controversy over the inflammatory comments Willie's dad, Phil Robertson, made about gays and African-Americans in an interview with "GQ" last month. Pre-controversy, Republicans credited the "Duck Dynasty" clan with helping them pull off a political upset in Louisiana that landed McAllister in office last November.
"Duck Dynasty" returned to A&E earlier this month for its fifth season. Ratings were down from its fourth season premiere and the program continues to show a downward trend.
